Departure Dates

Dear Fellow Cyclists, new and old

Pedaltours is now in its 24th year of offering fabulous cycling holidays. We at Pedaltours are as passionate about the trips we offer as ever.

Many who have travelled with us over the years return time and again to see another stunning corner of our world.

All our routes have been thoroughly scouted and lodges carefully chosen. Cyclists' hearty appetites are well catered for with cooked breakfasts and substantial dinners included most days.

Our local guides add that extra personal touch with their extensive knowledge of each area, the flora, fauna and the outdoors. The Pedaltours team is dedicated to bringing you the bicycle holiday of a lifetime.

A Pedaltour is for every-one, ride at your own pace and make use of the support van when you choose.

I have had the pleasure of planning and cycling all our routes; come and join us for a fabulous vacation.

Testimonials

Howard Strickler, Seattle  WA

"Nobody should go on a supported tour of New Zealand with anyone but Pedeltours. They selected outstanding accommodations, restaurant locations and provided absolutely perfect support for the riders. The ride leaders are extremely warm and friendly. Can't get any better. They get an A+ from me. "

Jeanette Augenstein, CO Springs CO

"New Zealand is truly amazing place where you can experience dry plains, rainforests, ocean beaches and glaciers all within a day's ride of each other. The people who live there are wonderfully open and willing to share their lovely island. Pedaltours were very congenial and most helpful in helping us relax and enjoy the trip. The other riders were great, as well with a wide range of riding abilities, ages, and backgrounds which made for very interesting dinner conversations! I would go again without question."

John Merson, Siasconset MA

"We have been on cycling trips in US and Europe. This was our best trip ever. "

Mary Blackstone and Roger Collier, Orcas Island

"We have cycled with Pedaltours twice in New Zealand, most recently on the South Island with CBC. I can’t say enough about Pedaltours’ support — they are terrific at accommodating varying skill levels and lengths of ride. Both times the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Lodging and food are both good-to-very-good, all within a very reasonable price. And we loved cycling in New Zealand, which is beautiful and welcoming. "

Diane Parker, Matamata New Zealand

“Thank you all for encouraging me to join your Southern Grand tour. I enjoyed every minute of it and it would have to be one of the highlights of my life. The organisation, accommodation and food were excellent along with our very supportive guides Bill and John. I would give you ten out of ten."

Ann Lombardi, Atlanta GA

“Jill and Em were very very congenial, hard-working, fast-thinking, professional guides. They provided yummy picnic lunches and healthful cycling snacks. The Milford Sound excursion was tops.”
